SPEAK YOUR MIND
"Does the distance one travels from center make one more free
to move?"
"No. Freedom has two parts: potential and resolution; as
metaphor has two parts: form and interpretation. Of course,
the two are intertwined. Metaphor lines the road to freedom,
as symbols and words are the bricks and mortar of meaning.
Freedom is being the bricoleur, the mason."

Well your wish is fulfilled, especially by those it matters most to. Columbine has a day of remembrance, but I never even heard of the shooters themselves referred to anything but in obscure third person. I didn't remember the names, and I don't think the current generation of students remember/know their names either. Columbine has moved on, and apparently their football team is laying the smack down on the rest of Denver currently.
