SPEAK YOUR MIND

"Does the distance one travels from center make one more free to move?"

"No. Freedom has two parts: potential and resolution; as metaphor has two parts: form and interpretation. Of course, the two are intertwined. Metaphor lines the road to freedom, as symbols and words are the bricks and mortar of meaning. Freedom is being the bricoleur, the mason."

: In Marathon you play as the Moljnir Mark III.
: In Halo you play as the Moljnir Mark IV titled
: Masterchief.

Marathon: Moljnir Mark IV
Halo: Moljnir Mark V
Halo2: Moljnir Mark VI

: Halo does have novels for it.
: Now, tell me Halo isn't big.

Halo: The Fall of Reach, by Eric Nylund (Out a month before the game)
Halo: The Flood by William Dietz (Novelisation of the Halo game, out April 2003)

IHMO, and I am not alone thinking that way, even if Halo and Marathon bears many similarities, they aren't really related, even if they are both the brainchilds of the same people. There was extensive discussion about this at the M Story forum and HBO forum.

There is currently NO news about Halo on mac and pc, but we will get the first insight soon.
