I just did a run through of Ingue Ferroque using the C variant -- I was able to hit every switch with it. (Even noting that the triggers are a bit removed from the actual switches, I didn't feel like I'd have any serious difficulty hitting any switch.)

If you drop the .u file I included in the zip into your UT/System folder and use the summon command "summon ModifiedAssaultRifle.MA75C" in game, you should be able to test it in any level you like.

I know I did some testing using the netmap Mars Needs Women, trying to gauge the flight paths and durations between the M1A1 incarnation and the M:R incarnations. I think what'd really need to be done for a serious semi-scientific comparison is to record a movie of each, so side-by-side comparisons could be done.
