I'm still planning on going back and fixing up map issues, but I can't really give a timeline until I have other stuff figured out. I wouldn't mind taking a look at some weapons and such either, at that point.

Also, if you've got the desire to make up some new weapon models, I'd definitely be in favor of that. I'm not really sure what the general procedures are for creating weapon models for UT. I suspect you can get your model into UT from Maya/Max without too much trouble. I'd take a look at UT's weapons for polycounts and aim for around that.
