SPEAK YOUR MIND
"Does the distance one travels from center make one more free
to move?"
"No. Freedom has two parts: potential and resolution; as
metaphor has two parts: form and interpretation. Of course,
the two are intertwined. Metaphor lines the road to freedom,
as symbols and words are the bricks and mortar of meaning.
Freedom is being the bricoleur, the mason."

Okay, the map works for me now. I think it may have worked before, but I was opening the console immediately after starting MR, and expecting some visual change when entering the load map command. I didn't know you need to hit escape to get to the map you just opened.
I agree that version C is closer to Marathon than version B. The 'litmus test' is how far up I need to aim to correct for the drop, when aiming at a far wall. I think version C is still coming up short, that is, its range is lower than Marathon's grenades. But since we want to compromise between original Marathon and more realistic physics, it may be good enough. It's hard to tell in singleplayer, so hopefully someone can try it out in a netgame. Someone should also test singleplayer maps like Ingue Ferroque, where using grenades to hit switches the same way one would in Marathon has been impossible thus far.
