SPEAK YOUR MIND

"Does the distance one travels from center make one more free to move?"

"No. Freedom has two parts: potential and resolution; as metaphor has two parts: form and interpretation. Of course, the two are intertwined. Metaphor lines the road to freedom, as symbols and words are the bricks and mortar of meaning. Freedom is being the bricoleur, the mason."

Geez, that is some long and well-thought out responses to the weapons.

I'm a bit too tired to do a really thorough response, but I'll say...

I really loved the RTCW Flamethrower. The only one I enjoy more than Marathon's.

Glad you managed to get your hands on the Pfhor staff. I remember when I was deciding whether or not to put it in. In playtesting the issue of ammo with your regular arsenal was an issue that came up several times. I didn't really want the player to be stuck on an Alien level with no way to deal with flying wasps, so I figured adding the staff would at least give players an option to deal with flying foes. It's not an ideal weapon by any means, but at least you can make some strategic use of it.
