SPEAK YOUR MIND

"Does the distance one travels from center make one more free to move?"

"No. Freedom has two parts: potential and resolution; as metaphor has two parts: form and interpretation. Of course, the two are intertwined. Metaphor lines the road to freedom, as symbols and words are the bricks and mortar of meaning. Freedom is being the bricoleur, the mason."

In Response To: More switches (..)

Alright... I got that switch working. I know...

Basically everything is working except for the platforms in the platform jumping puzzle of Colony Ship. My problem is that I need for the platform to be able to stop when the player hits the switch again. Right now, no matter how I set it up, if you shoot the trigger, the platform rises from key 0 to key 1, and if you shoot it again, where-ever it is in the path from key 0 to key 1, it descends back down to key 0. The intended behavior here is that it stop exactly where it was when the switch is activated again.

Basically this behavior makes the puzzle impossible to do, since the lifts won't stop where they are, but will always go back down to the floor. This is a serious problem and I don't even know if Unreal can handle the necessary behavior.
