SPEAK YOUR MIND

"Does the distance one travels from center make one more free to move?"

"No. Freedom has two parts: potential and resolution; as metaphor has two parts: form and interpretation. Of course, the two are intertwined. Metaphor lines the road to freedom, as symbols and words are the bricks and mortar of meaning. Freedom is being the bricoleur, the mason."

In Response To: Physics (Captain Kewl)

Heh, I'm finding out how much of a Bad Thing messing with UT physics are now that I have a little netcode experience. Talk about a mess. I'm just hoping that I can get Marathon physics to not make internet play crappy, though, because I enjoy it. I do happen to find that type of air control a feature, not necessarily a limitation, because it's fun for me. Too bad UT has such a hissy fit whenever you touch physics though.

And I agree, I'd rather not have any sort of vs. match between M:R and M|R. I like M:R quite a bit, and I like M|R quite a bit. They're different, and I think that's good. When I feel like x-y-z, I'll play one, and when I feel like a-b-c, I'll play the other. Whatever. Party on Wayne.
