Actually, the M:R marine is quite a bit too armoured for tank work and as a result, dosen't really resemble any tank uniforms. Take a look at the M2 marine, now there is a dude that looks almost perfect for tanks, resembles some of the Czech tank pilot uniforms I've seen. In compairson, the M1 marine looks like an anime space marine. Each one of them is unique and have their own entirely different flavor.
If you wonder why our marine dosen't look like an anime space marine, it's cause we took what we thought was the best of M1 and M2 and soldered them togeather and cast it against the M1 storyline for what we thought would make M:R the best.
