SPEAK YOUR MIND

"Does the distance one travels from center make one more free to move?"

"No. Freedom has two parts: potential and resolution; as metaphor has two parts: form and interpretation. Of course, the two are intertwined. Metaphor lines the road to freedom, as symbols and words are the bricks and mortar of meaning. Freedom is being the bricoleur, the mason."

: The character from Marathon was indeed acting as a
: security officer. However there is a huge amount of
: evidence provided by various terminals throughout the
: game that he is in reality one of the 10 Mjolnir-class
: military cyborgs smuggled aboard the Marathon.

yes, that is true. it's revealed in marathon2 (i believe) that the reason that the Player (we'll call him the marine) is able to fall such great distances without damage is because he is a cyborg.

Also, you should take note that the upcoming Bungie game, Halo, is a continuation of the Marathon series. The player is a marine and is definitely a cyborg (listen to his voice).

also note that the marine is the only human character who's face you can never see.
