SPEAK YOUR MIND

"Does the distance one travels from center make one more free to move?"

"No. Freedom has two parts: potential and resolution; as metaphor has two parts: form and interpretation. Of course, the two are intertwined. Metaphor lines the road to freedom, as symbols and words are the bricks and mortar of meaning. Freedom is being the bricoleur, the mason."

: play Durandal on the PC.

No, you can play M:Infinity on PC. I have the boxset from way back when I had a Mac. If you get Aleph One and use a program I found through m.b.o you can read the files off of the Mac CD and copy them to your A1 directory... then play.

But this is about M:R, not A1. It's really not fair to compare M:R to Doom 3 or Halo or even games older than Halo. You have to remember UT is an old ass engine and the people who worked/are working on it arn't being paid and are amatuers like Tycho said. That being said, I think M:R is a huge improvement graphically over the original.
