You know it just occurred to me - perhaps what you recall seeing was actually a film. When you watch films of network games you see the name of the player whose POV you are watching in the name slot. If that was a name or handle used by someone on the dev team, it seems reasonable that it could have shown up a film. I don't recall, were any films included with any of the betas?
