SPEAK YOUR MIND

"Does the distance one travels from center make one more free to move?"

"No. Freedom has two parts: potential and resolution; as metaphor has two parts: form and interpretation. Of course, the two are intertwined. Metaphor lines the road to freedom, as symbols and words are the bricks and mortar of meaning. Freedom is being the bricoleur, the mason."

: Could someone with a MAC get back to me on the activity
: of the beta, I am still dying to know.

There's an old Mac Performa something or other in my closet that I used to play marathon on, back when i used my trilogy box CDs. now with my PC, its just "thank god for aleph one and M:R". anyway, on the box set CDs there were Marathon betas(or alphas even?), but they always said if i tried to install them there would be a good chance my computer would explode and kill me... well now that I dont use that comp anymore(or anytime within the last 6 or 7 years) i suppose it would be alrite to try them out.

i'll try it tomorrow. if i come across any names, i'll tell you because i love you so much ;-)
