SPEAK YOUR MIND

"Does the distance one travels from center make one more free to move?"

"No. Freedom has two parts: potential and resolution; as metaphor has two parts: form and interpretation. Of course, the two are intertwined. Metaphor lines the road to freedom, as symbols and words are the bricks and mortar of meaning. Freedom is being the bricoleur, the mason."

Time to reopen the case guys. The sudden lack of conversation has been dissapointing, and once again I have been digging into that question: What was the name of the player in the origional Marathon.

Right, ran into a guy who had the Beta on his Mac all those years ago, and he commented on remembering a name when I rased the idea with him.

Bringing me to my next point: Has anyone got those betas going? I failed mizeribly.

Alain Aslag Roy was an origional developer in marathon, and on another Bungie game (I forget which one) the name "Aslag" also featured as one of the characters.

Could someone with a MAC get back to me on the activity of the beta, I am still dying to know.
