The Cube should work just fine with smaller player loads (>6). I've played 3-player games hosted on 500Mhz PowerBooks, and I regularly host network and LAN games using a 450Mhz Cube. Both worked flawlessly.

And if I had a static IP address to give out, I'd publish the server, but I don't.
