I agree. Lack of crosshairs pretty much only affects the pistol, and even then it just means shooting once or twice before you get into your groove. When Tycho, Cap & I were playing multiplayer last night I found ping to be a far more significant factor using the pistol than the lack of a crosshair.
: The original Marathon did not have crosshairs. Besides,
: it is very doable to aim without crosshairs.
