power isnt what counts anymore, yes a gamecube will be more powerful than the PS2 and just as good as the Xbox. but graphics dont make the game. The Xbox will unfortunately do far better than the Camecube because of the game choice. Nintendo has alwasy fetures alot of little kid type games. they are currently trying to get rid of that sterotype but it will never work. The Xbox will feture anyhting and everything. that and except for like sports games gamecube will feture almost all japanese games and although they are good they can never match the quality of titles suck as oddworld: muches oddysee, Halo and the many other american made games. The really good Japanese games are made by squarre soft, which has a 7 year contract with sony
