SPEAK YOUR MIND

"Does the distance one travels from center make one more free to move?"

"No. Freedom has two parts: potential and resolution; as metaphor has two parts: form and interpretation. Of course, the two are intertwined. Metaphor lines the road to freedom, as symbols and words are the bricks and mortar of meaning. Freedom is being the bricoleur, the mason."

: It will do that. It's because the file system changed in
: Mac OS 9. However, it shouldn't take too long before
: you can play M1 in Aleph One. Glad I got 8.1 to run on
: my G3. ;-)

Not in my experience. I'm running OS 9.1 on a G4, and M1 still plays fine.

: Note: This doesn't mean that I'm not as eager as the next
: guy to play Ressurection. Can't wait, in fact, those
: screenshots look gorgeous. But that doesn't mean I
: have to abnadon the original, now, does it?

Yes, it does. We, here at Team Unpfhorgiven, demand an unwavering commitment to Marathon: Resurrection. Now that the MOD is almost here, you may not play the original Marathon, anymore. We're working on a M$-like system, where the UMOD will automatically delete M1 from your HD, and then delete itself if M1 gets back on your system.
