Terminal Formatting and Security Cameras

Figured I'd post on this...
I just tried to get the Bold and Italic things to work on the formatting of the terminals in Couch Fishing. No luck. I checked out Arrival for my example map. The combination $B is, supposedly, used to bold the text, and $b is used as the end delimiter. $I and $i do the same thing for italics. However, I just tried playing Arrival and noticed that they weren't actually doing anything. Is this just my version of the map?
Also, currently the Security Cameras allow you to look around the area. This isn't intended, I know. In the final release will this sort of thing be fixed? (Not really a big deal, but it might slightly affect how and where I set up the security cameras.)
