SPEAK YOUR MIND

"Does the distance one travels from center make one more free to move?"

"No. Freedom has two parts: potential and resolution; as metaphor has two parts: form and interpretation. Of course, the two are intertwined. Metaphor lines the road to freedom, as symbols and words are the bricks and mortar of meaning. Freedom is being the bricoleur, the mason."

In Response To: Damn: Just bought a Mac Pro (fp3)

I don't get it... Mac Pro = Intel = Boot Camp = Windows XP = UT on PC = Simple instal of M:R.

I'd say windows XP on a mac, simply to play M:R is rather extravagent, but there's all sorts of randomn stuff I have to bounce into XP for from time to time, so it's worth it for me.

: And it runs like stink. But it won't run UT, so it won't
: run Resurrection. Keeping the G5 on my desk and buying
: a KVM for no other purpose than to play this game,
: which looks beautiful and which you guys have
: obviously done a ton of terrific work to bring to the
: world, is just a bit too extravagant.

: I'll never get to see what's beyond the darkness now.
: Sad.

: Best wishes,

: fp
