SPEAK YOUR MIND

"Does the distance one travels from center make one more free to move?"

"No. Freedom has two parts: potential and resolution; as metaphor has two parts: form and interpretation. Of course, the two are intertwined. Metaphor lines the road to freedom, as symbols and words are the bricks and mortar of meaning. Freedom is being the bricoleur, the mason."

: I'm curious: But in this update-release, or in previous
: version - is it possible to utilize the Marathon
: monsters as player models? While it is highly
: un-marathon like, I always enjoy playing against only
: the AI in dummy matches - and setting the enemy as a
: particular monster, with an "favorite"
: weapon.

Monster player models was an idea I toyed around with sometime back, which I later put aside because it added a whole nother layer of issues (monsters might have to be reanimated, a good bit of code might be needed, etc.)

One thing I am thinking of doing is adding a spawn monsters option for the botmatches. In the meantime, you can easily spawn them ingame wherever you want with the summon command, eg "summon marathoncreature.pfhorfighter".
