SPEAK YOUR MIND

"Does the distance one travels from center make one more free to move?"

"No. Freedom has two parts: potential and resolution; as metaphor has two parts: form and interpretation. Of course, the two are intertwined. Metaphor lines the road to freedom, as symbols and words are the bricks and mortar of meaning. Freedom is being the bricoleur, the mason."

Perhaps someone here can help me?

I have been attempting to learn to animate and rigg in Max 5, and are having a little difficulty. I have got as far as using envelopes to attach bones to the mesh, but is there any way to manually assign verticies to bones? This would make my life so much eaiser, as it is the way I have always done everything, and I find it more efficient.

Meta is starving for an animator, so your friendly scripter for the last 2 years is trying to fill in some holes. Damn, I wish I was back programming AI.

Cheers if anyone can help me with this - because every tutorial says: manually assign verticies, but none lays it out on a plate (in common english) how to do so.

P.S. team spots still avaliable.
