SPEAK YOUR MIND

"Does the distance one travels from center make one more free to move?"

"No. Freedom has two parts: potential and resolution; as metaphor has two parts: form and interpretation. Of course, the two are intertwined. Metaphor lines the road to freedom, as symbols and words are the bricks and mortar of meaning. Freedom is being the bricoleur, the mason."

I assure you, it is cooler (no pun) has less posinious animals (MP's excluded naturally). With plenty of sights (University first few days of summer when the girls decide to show off their hours in the sunbeds) and plenty of green forest provided you are on the west coast where it rains (god I love it, the forest is just so Jurassic Park [actually where they were going to film JP2, until NIWA heard about the damage they were going to do to the forest]). Somesay there are even Moa (Prehistoric bird) and Moose (introduced early 1800's) continue to survive in the vast uncharted wilderness. Volcanic areas (voted worlds best 8 hour walk) and plenty of Goths in Re-Fuel.

But middle earth: definate attraction, and if you get really craized out, you can have a wander down to some of the old goldmining ruins, look about the same as a hobit's area, at zero times the price!

Highly reccomended.

-Just had to speil.
