SPEAK YOUR MIND

"Does the distance one travels from center make one more free to move?"

"No. Freedom has two parts: potential and resolution; as metaphor has two parts: form and interpretation. Of course, the two are intertwined. Metaphor lines the road to freedom, as symbols and words are the bricks and mortar of meaning. Freedom is being the bricoleur, the mason."

A group of us (not team Unpfhorgiven - we have no name as far as I can tell) are working on a Marathon based Multiplayer mod for UT2003. Where is it? ZeroStar started it a wile back, and a few of us have just kept plodding. Results? Nothing significant on my part, but the weapon models are kickass ;)

On that note: Just read the review by PC Gamer Magazine New Zealand on M:R. They went on, and on, and on, and on about how much it reminded them of the good old days playing Marathon, and how they had wished that Marathon had come to the PC. Frankly, I think they liked it (a whole page of nearly solid text cannot be wrong! Some of the other mod's got one huge picture and a little dribble - must have been a good low-res screenshot ;).

From New Zealand (and lots of people at the Polytech now [te hehe]) Good job guys.
