SPEAK YOUR MIND
"Does the distance one travels from center make one more free
to move?"
"No. Freedom has two parts: potential and resolution; as
metaphor has two parts: form and interpretation. Of course,
the two are intertwined. Metaphor lines the road to freedom,
as symbols and words are the bricks and mortar of meaning.
Freedom is being the bricoleur, the mason."

: They're easy to make: set something to "Entry.unr
: INI=:UnrealTournamentX.ini USERINI=:UserX.ini
: log=:UnrealTournamentX.log"
: tell application "Unreal Tournament OS X"
: run params something
: activate
: end tell
That's really helpful for someone using Linux or Windows.
Joe Average UT Player most likely won't know about command line parameters or even know what an ini file is, let alone that you can pick and choose between them. UT already has tbe built-in capability to run virtually anything from a well written piece of scripting, and if a goal of a mod is to be as accessible as possible, it has to not only be idiot proof, but also actually WORK -- across different platforms -- with a minimum of fuss, neither of which custom launchers tend to do. Sure, you get a 1337 custom desktop, but what good is it if one third of a mod's audience can't even figure out how to get it?
