Firing two guns ?

Hi!
I do know that in the Marathon series, one fired one of the guns with one trigger, and the other gun, with, well the other trigger, however, I feel that is is more difficult for me to do in M:R.
I use a single button mouse, the ProMouse, and use shift as the second trigger, and most of the time I can only fire one gun at a time, sometimes, if I am lucky, I can unload an entire clip of my right gun, and one shot from the left.
Cant there be something done to ease two gun handling ? perhaps firing both guns with one trigger, as in UT ?
