I've bookmarked your server as a favorite, and went on a couple of times. My ping was decent, bots might be a good idea.
One way to compensate for low ammo on some of the maps (thunderdome is perfect, others vary) might be apply the map vote plugin to your server, where logged players get to vote on each successive map.
However, never having done this myself, I'm not sure how to implement it, but if you're interested, I'll do some research.
Kudos for setting up the server, though. That makes you and Boomer (miha's server) the only two MR server's out there.
