Bungie has always welcomed fan-created content. However I imagine that anything trying to make money on something based on their intellectual would rightly be viewed as a rip-off, and would at the very least result in a letter written on some nice lawyer's letterhead.
In other words: Even if we did decide that we were lame enough to break the faith with Bungie and charge for this thing, we would have other disencentives to do so.
In any case, I for one am not so inclined.
