Unreal Tournament Visual Settings Suggestions

After spending so long working on Marathon: Resurrection, it's important to me that you guys are getting the full experience as it was intended to be seen.
If you're on a Windows machine I recommend you download and install the latest OpenGL driver. Download Here
Here's a page that goes into a lot of detail about graphical tweak settings for UT. Old Unreal also may have more information about tweaking your Unreal Tournament settings.
The most direct way to get at your graphics settings is to go into UnrealTournament/System/ and search for UnrealTournament.ini. Add or edit these lines this under [OpenGLDrv.OpenGLRenderDevice], assuming you are using OpenGL as I recommended, in UnrealTournament.ini:
Translucency=True
VolumetricLighting=True - *Note* May impact performance on some levels. Highly recommened to keep it on for highest visual quality, but if you need the frames turn it off.
ShinySurfaces=True
Coronas=True
HighDetailActors=True
DetailTextures=True
UseS3TC=True
UseTrilinear=True
UsePrecache=True
AlwaysMipmap=True
I am not sure how much of this will work on a Mac 9/X machine, but the procedure should be the same. If it does not work, try the methods used in the Techspot article that I linked to earlier in this post.
