That's great news! You're not alone on it, I don't think. Mr.Tozt and Barballs and RedRadish are going at it. I don't know if Djof has fallen off some edge of the world somewhere. We're keeping an eye on things daily. Wolfchild has also tentatively agreed to help with finishing touches on maps, stringing them together and whatnot, and he will answer mapping questions you might have on here.
Was Beware of Low Flying Defense Drones a map you sent me finished? I think I just received a beta which wasn't quite complete.
As far as sham-job on the maps...it would be bad for quality to suddenly drop, though I'm sure you're doing quite a good job. I think it's important to keep in mind that it would be good to finish, so trying to not tweak to infnity is important, but you wouldn't want to not leave your mark of quality on it either  .
You're definitely not alone. I have a feeling that the others working on maps are feeling they are alone too, so it's probably best for everyone to try and contribute a bit more, conversation-wise, and if at all possible, to try and come and idle in #marathon more often, so that you can ask each other the odd question when you need to.
