SPEAK YOUR MIND

"Does the distance one travels from center make one more free to move?"

"No. Freedom has two parts: potential and resolution; as metaphor has two parts: form and interpretation. Of course, the two are intertwined. Metaphor lines the road to freedom, as symbols and words are the bricks and mortar of meaning. Freedom is being the bricoleur, the mason."

In Response To: Pf'hor in Multi (Designator_Hawk)

: To anyone who knows: I found it easy to generate Pf'hor
: through the marathon thing factory, and spawn
: locations, but they will only hunt the lead player,
: and leave the bots alone (not tested with human
: players).

I believe they will hunt any human players, or more specifically, any Playerpawns. Bots are a different sort of Pawn that is not accounted for in the critter code and so basically get ignored. In fact I'll wager that even if we made Marathon aliens attack Bots, the Bots would still ignore the aliens.

: Q: Is there any way to make it so that you can spawn
: aliens a bobs in a multi game, and have them play
: their respecive parts (ie. attack eachother?)

BOBs don't attack anybody. They're pacificists ya see.

: Makes life more intresting when they count for one frag
: also.

This is unlikely to happen. I would be annoyed if I were playing against someone and they beat me by running around killing the wimpy aliens.
