SPEAK YOUR MIND
"Does the distance one travels from center make one more free
				to move?"

"No. Freedom has two parts: potential and resolution; as
metaphor has two parts: form and interpretation. Of course,
the two are intertwined. Metaphor lines the road to freedom,
as symbols and words are the bricks and mortar of meaning.
Freedom is being the bricoleur, the mason."

First off those won't be rezzed down. We have a proprietary engine, home coded, that can handle environments of 4 to 10 million polygons and can handle standard characters of 20 to 40 thousand polygons. And this game can run on any PowerPC Mac or Pentium back to a Pentium 2/233. Reason being, the engine has automatic poly reduction so it reduces the game to a playable frame rate on the systems. Also available will be fully destructible environments, enhanced enemy AI, bullet time, martial arts, detachable body parts, and more. Oh and so no its not UT Warfare. More powerful than that.
This will be, more than likely, a single player only game. We are looking at multiplayer opportunities. However, with the complexity of the game, this might not be possible. If it is possible it will more than likely be a co-op through the game and several maps for DM or CTF. There will be three races to play as, with more info on them coming soon. However, they will be aliens, humans, and CAT [cyborg assault tank]. |
Yes we are working on facial animations as well as a short trailer coming out soon. We have modelers as we speak putting together brand new high polygon models as well as designing environments. Our interface will be more akin to the Marathon series as it will have health and armor bars with full HUD instead of a mere pop up HUD. It will also display all ammo, the weapon, designations on the weapon etc.
This is a very story driven game. The story is massive, perhaps not as massive as Marathon, but will have many events and timelines that will affect the gameplay and different scenarios. The one thing we wanted to do with this game was: tell a story. And a year in development is a good thing. We have ironed out the bugs and gotten things streamlined plus a list of talent that ranges from BUNGIE itself all the way to EA.
And just FYI we are looking for
 3D Modelers/Animators
Concept Artists
 Programmers
 Web Designer
 and more ...
Oh and we are having a full orchestratic soundtrack for the game. A cross between Marathon 1 and Halo.
