SPEAK YOUR MIND

"Does the distance one travels from center make one more free to move?"

"No. Freedom has two parts: potential and resolution; as metaphor has two parts: form and interpretation. Of course, the two are intertwined. Metaphor lines the road to freedom, as symbols and words are the bricks and mortar of meaning. Freedom is being the bricoleur, the mason."

baltimore

ok, we know this about baltimore= lat/long 39N 76W approximately. From thermopyle's Big Fat Clue, we know that Baltimore is represented by the sixth circle. I think this can be assumed to be the red/green pair in that circle... but how to translate that pair into lat/long...

I'm willing to guess that the dot/centerpoint angle matters, because to make the dot/dash angle to work, well, we already tried that

ok, someone out there with photoshop and/or a printer...

first post a listing of the measurements of the angles :P
and also calibrate the circle so that the sixth red dot (which I am willing to bet is latitude) is 39º and see if the sixth green dot is -76º by the same calibration. Easier method: measure the green6/centerpoint/red6 angle and see if it comes out to 115º aka 39º+76º, but you still would need to find the value to calibrate at afterwards (at least if the angle was 115º, you'd know you were on the right track).

I'm shooting in the dark here... but eyeing it it seems right, and if nobody is willing to do this, I'm d/l'ing NIH image...
