SPEAK YOUR MIND
"Does the distance one travels from center make one more free
to move?"
"No. Freedom has two parts: potential and resolution; as
metaphor has two parts: form and interpretation. Of course,
the two are intertwined. Metaphor lines the road to freedom,
as symbols and words are the bricks and mortar of meaning.
Freedom is being the bricoleur, the mason."

On second thoughts - perhaps it is a tad over the top to bring in other Bungie characters. This is MARATHON, and someone do something about dodging, it is just not becoming in a Marathon environment.
Favourite map? Mars Needs Women, it was voted as the best multiplayer network map in the world by several sites, and hey, it rules. Just we never see it online. I even went as far as making a copy (lost on the poly machines) for Duke Nukem 3D when that was released. From memory we are looking at a scruffy re-creation, but it sorta felt the same.
Mars Needs Women was distinctly Marathon, you needed to play Marathon style to win on that map, with the Coffin, Shaft, Lifts, first and second degree snipe areas, plus a style of door combat that has never been properly recreated in any game or map I have played since.
Maybe someday, some map will rival or defeat MNW, until then, save a dollar a day, and see how much money you have when you die.

P.S. "Carnage Centrial" "Total Carnage" check out all the sites related to these "Marathon" phrases.
