A Havana-colored Hermès alligator strap, clasped by an ardillon buckle, embraces the teardrop-shaped lugs which are characteristic of the brand.I also enjoy the coverage of the newer independents, such as Anoma, SpaceOne, Baltic, Furlan Marri, and Serica.The Master Control Calendar Chronograph combines a complete calendar (and moonphase) with a chronograph – no doubt a combination familiar to the watch industry, but one that JLC had never executed itself. Perhaps the finest thing you can say Longines Equestrian Collection about the Master Control Calendar Chronograph is that it has no broader ambitions towards popularity, hype, statement-making, technical ingenuity, or any of the other vices that befall so many modern watches. It's just a damn good watch.The tourbillon on that Streamliner, stuck in the middle of a seemingly vast black hole of a dial is mesmerizing to look at – it simply floats in nothingness. The sporty Streamliner Tourbillon was a big hit last year, but the dressier Endeavour lineup is a bit more my style, so I'm glad this option exists in Moser's catalog now too. While it may have started out as a bit of a joke, Moser continues to use Vantablack to make some seriously good-looking watches.
The most striking feature is arguably the blue lacquered dial. This is achieved by lacquer-filling small basins in a three-dimensional geometric dial. The resulting dial glistens like a gemstone in the light. The reverse dial shows much more skeletonization but still features the characteristic blue as well, thematically marrying front and Piaget Polo back.The mosaic includes small mother-of-pearl tiles and a handful of diamonds, echoing the gems on the bezel and the pearled crown.The gray hands that display the local time feature white lume, while the 24-hour GMT hand is completely white.This watch will be available on the Kickstarter campaign at 770 USD (Super Early Bird) and 790 USD.Roughly 30 minutes go by before, in an absolute panic, I notice my watch is missing.
