Titanium is a tricky material to work with, but the manufacturer managed to achieve the sharp chamfers, evenly brushed finishing, and mirror-like polish that you’ve come to expect from the Grand Seiko brand on this piece.An exercise in unabashed and unashamed luxury, produced just two years before the start of the First World War, the Model A had a transparent glass dial in which the hour and minute hands were suspended, and in which they turned apparently completely disconnected from the movement.Though the collection is known for being an innovator when it came to bringing aluminum into the horological spotlight, it has always seemed like the Bulgari watch most restricted by its own design language. How far can you really take the hyper-sporty look? This particular collaboration looks to me to be an attempt at breaking away from the familiar. Compare it to the Ducati LE.
