We have a couple of very, very high-end, high-craft, small-batch timepieces at the very top (the platinum limited edition is $76,000, fake rolex uk which I think might be a record for Grand Seiko) but we also have a sub-$10,000 model (the steel version is $7600) with the same general value-proposition – obsessive attention to detail, and a unique watchmaking technology that offers a unique aesthetic.But a lot of the draw of the Concept comes from the holistic design language. Light on the wrist but burly in design with its sandblasted titanium, a futuristic two-toned dial, and wild movement, this new Royal Oak Concept Split-Seconds Chronograph GMT is intensely cool. Not much more can be said. I just hope this might be the year I get to see one in person.Okay, so RM just released a capsule collection of summer colors just in time for fall. But it's RM, they make the rules and I abide by them because I am a true proponent of year-round color and taking life less seriously. I don't rave about Richard Mille because anybody tells me to, I rave about it because, in my dream world, I would wear an RM 07-01. I would also erase all memory of Jeremy Strong wearing one to the Met gala.
