The watch, brought to life by industrial designer Mark Braun, dispenses with a power reserve display or date window in favor of beautiful simplicity. Its 38mm stainless steel sits nicely on the wrist and the dial's "urban grey" color is achieved with a ruthenium coating.

You can read more about the new Yacht-master 40 on the Rolex website.The new Pebble is a lot like the old Pebble: a boldly round 36mm case with a tilted square dial (that also gives it another nickname, the "Baseball") in an off-white eggshell opaline that brings the brand-new Pebble a warm, vintage feel.The 2016 Mark XVIII was a design refresh of a model range which had, up to that point, taken the aviation-inspiration idea a little too literally and sized the watches a little too large. The XVIII, conversely, was conservative in appearance, with an unassuming date window (I don't want to hear about the placement) and just-right 40mm case. It was a hit – about as close to a no-nonsense tool watch that any luxury watch brand was (or is) putting out.
