Situated in the middle of the lines that adorn the top of the UR-105’s oblong octogonal case is a catch, which you can slide open to reveal the mechanism that guides the wandering hour mechanism. This kind of display is textbook Urwerk, but the specific openworked version presented in the UR-105 CT is something new.The top half is Breitling Superocean Heritage where the two complications come into play. A mystery display (meaning you can see all the way through it and nothing appears to connect the "hands" to the central mechanism) uses a pair of indicators, one depicting the sun and one depicting the moon, to show the slow movement of the day and night along a 12-hour scale that is graduated from six to six along the top half of the dial. It's a pretty poetic way to show the time, but also relatively simple to read.All told, the new updates (not to mention the Co-Axial movement) make this one handsome and well-equipped Moonwatch, with the new and fully brushed bracelet treatment affording a vintage-effect look without any of the gimmicks often attributed to the wider trend of vintage-themed designs. Oh, and for those wondering, the Hesalite definitely retains its easter-egg Omega logo eThe CasebackThe Omega globe has moved from the edge of the solid caseback to the backside of the two o'clock lug, and the four o'clock lug now lists the case material (stainless steel, Au750, etc).
