Screen Tinting Problems

I'm not sure if the subject has come up here before, if it has then just ignore this.
I've noticed some problems with screen tenting, such as getting hit by projectiles and picking up ammo. I haven't been able to narrow it down, but one thing that is really bothering me is the lack of a yellow flash when you get hit by a rocket. I'm pretty sure there are some missing flashes when you get hit by the grenade and alien weapon as well, but I'm not positive.
I hope this helps, and if anyone can narrow this information down further than me I would appreciate it.
