Just as a bit of a followup note...

I know a guy who hosts servers for UT3/UT2K4, and from what I am hearing, he has just gotten another dual quad-core Intel machine with the intent of allowing some people he knows to host their own games on it.

I'm going to ask and see if it'll be possible for me to get a core so that we could have a dedicated M:R server set up 24/7. If not, I'll probably look into purchasing a machine myself as a dedicated server, although obviously I'd prefer to get one located in a data center with nice fat pipes and centralized location.
