So far, I've been able to use all flaky shield rechargers that work at all, by carefully stepping forward straight up to the recharger until the text message ("press Activate to recharge shields" or something like that) first appears. All chargers that work at all seem to work if you're right at that point where the message first appears, about 2-3 feet from the charger.
Of course I'm hoping rechargers will be fixed with an update to work as expected. I've noticed all terminals seem to work within a range of distances. Could the code that activates terminals be modified for use in activating rechargers, since they're both supposed to be used at the same distances?
