SPEAK YOUR MIND

"Does the distance one travels from center make one more free to move?"

"No. Freedom has two parts: potential and resolution; as metaphor has two parts: form and interpretation. Of course, the two are intertwined. Metaphor lines the road to freedom, as symbols and words are the bricks and mortar of meaning. Freedom is being the bricoleur, the mason."

Countdown clock adjustment.

Posted By: Tycho

I've attempted to sync the countdown clock to the NTP time of the hosting server, which hopefully means that everyone in the world sees the same countdown amount, instead of it being dependent on everyone's computer clock timezone.

What this means is that the countdown is set to expire as the day turns to 07/07/07 exactly at midnight, Pacific Standard Time, which is GMT + 8. Hopefully this all makes sense, as last time we had countdowns everyone expected things to happen when THEIR clock turned to 0. Heh...Presumably, this is working now and all should rejoice in unison. :)
