That's basically what all the beta releases so far have been, in some form or another. The thing is, there's little in-between stuff left: all art content is done, all other content is done, with the exception of about half the SP maps. I'm hesitant to try and create more hype without any more substance...and more substance would really mean more SP maps...which would mean we're closer to completion. It IS possible (though, I'm keeping optimistic) that these maps won't be done by July, at which point I see one or a combination of four things happening:
1. It's released as is, stays as is, has a happy life everafter.
2. Maps are partially done, gets released, and nothing's stopping people for making the SP maps and other MP maps. We're not disappearing...if enough content is collected after July, to warrant a re-release with new stuff, it may very well be possible.
3. Maps are mostly done with a handful missing, and people willing to work on it, so we further halt release for a few extra weeks, to allow a complete and shiny release, has a happy life everafter.
4. All maps get done, everyone's happy, people frolic and play, love all around, has a hppy life everafter.
I hope it's number 4...or if not, 3, but none of those options are really that horribly dire..just not exactly what we've hoped for, for 1 and 2.
