Yes. Don't despair..and don't delete the downloaded file.

Double-click on your StuffIt Expander. Go to File->Preferences. Click on "Cross Platform". set that preference to "Never"... then unstuff the downloaded file again and drag the uMOD over the uMOD Installer. This should work better than hot spit.
