SPEAK YOUR MIND

"Does the distance one travels from center make one more free to move?"

"No. Freedom has two parts: potential and resolution; as metaphor has two parts: form and interpretation. Of course, the two are intertwined. Metaphor lines the road to freedom, as symbols and words are the bricks and mortar of meaning. Freedom is being the bricoleur, the mason."

: Um, hey, I've got a problem. Does everyone know the
: secret room on Eupfhoria? And how there's an indent in
: the wall?
: Well, above and below the indent are textured
: differently, and UnrealEd won't select them seperatly.
: Can you do this at all? If so, HOW?

Both the upper and lower surfaces resulted from a single subtraction on one surface of a brush. Just because another brush came in later and made a subtraction in the middle of it doesn't keep it from being all the same face. Go in with another brush and do a subtract and then an add (to add back what you just subtracted) on the upper or lower surface. Then you can texture it differently from the other one.
