SPEAK YOUR MIND

"Does the distance one travels from center make one more free to move?"

"No. Freedom has two parts: potential and resolution; as metaphor has two parts: form and interpretation. Of course, the two are intertwined. Metaphor lines the road to freedom, as symbols and words are the bricks and mortar of meaning. Freedom is being the bricoleur, the mason."

In Response To: Re: Is unreal Tournament 2004 good for M:R ? (MZ)

: Thanks for the reply.

: So which version exactly should I buy then ? There is
: something around called UT 2003. Is it the same as UT
: you refer to ?

: I bought all original marathon stuff at time, run all
: scenarios (Evil included :-) I could get hands on but
: I would love to replay the original Marathon (solo) on
: a modern engine...(M1 does not run on Aleph One:-(

: BTW I cannot find here in Europe anymore the original
: UT...

: Still as "atmosphere" is concerned I have not
: found a game IMHO as marathon,..

: Cheers

Actually, M1 does run on Aleph One.. You just have to get the right files... such as here: http://archives2.bungie.org/mos.scenarios/m1a1.sit <--- for mac aleph one or http://archives2.bungie.org/a1sdl/m1a1_sdl.zip <--- for pc/linux aleph one. Plus, get the revival textures, which makes alot of the stuff updated and nicer to look at. http://archives.bungie.org/filesearch.html?item=m1a1.revival256x256jpg
