SPEAK YOUR MIND

"Does the distance one travels from center make one more free to move?"

"No. Freedom has two parts: potential and resolution; as metaphor has two parts: form and interpretation. Of course, the two are intertwined. Metaphor lines the road to freedom, as symbols and words are the bricks and mortar of meaning. Freedom is being the bricoleur, the mason."

In Response To: Does anyone remember the Damage Inc. thing... (Col.Deep Spawn)

: ... Bungie made out of the Marathon engine? I found some
: old CDs the other day and among them was this thingy
: for EGM or something that had some demos, including
: Damage Inc. The CD was cracked, but I remember Damage
: Inc. being fairly cool.

: Bungie never finished that, did they? Or was it not them
: in the first place?

Or course they finished this game. When I was looking through my mac magazines looking for Marathon Infinity I also read something about Damadge Incorporated.
I played the demo and I really enjoyed the team-commands you could use within every mission.

But there was also another game based on the Marathon 2 engine. I forgot the name but it was something about a dead member of the gouverment where you could run through big office halls, basements etc. It was REAL architecture and not something artificial like Marathon 2 itself. You could even break glass in this game. MB someone of you knows which game I'm talking about?
