Not necesseraly... In the bible it said that God rested on the seventh day, right? And one of the comandments says to keep the resting day holy. (rough translation from Icelandic) Then why is Sunday always considered the resting day if it is the first day of the week?
If I am making a mistake, then please let me know.
(I have never been good with bible stories and stuff like that)
