I am officially announcing the start of Marathon 2: Beyond, the remake of Marathon 2: Durandal, utilizing the Marathon:Resurrection MOD.
After posting a bunch of desires for M:R improvements, and discovering that Team Unpfhorgivn's main priority is to just get M:R finished, Ian Mankowski (Lt. Et'he) and I came to the conclusion that this is the right time to create a NEW TEAM for remaking Marathon 2: Durandal.

Since TEAM DURABILITY is starting where Team Unpfhorgivn left off, I hope to find people with code skills, so that we may begin the Terminal Overhaul project.
The primary goal is to first remake the M2 demo. The second goal is to enhance the terminals by somehow integrating Flash content (I hope this is possible, but the bottom line is ultimately if anyone has the right skills to figure it out). This is a big challenge, but I think everyone would like to see the terminals enhanced along with the rest of the game.
The third goal is to add new BOB and BAB sounds, with a number of different voices doing a number of unique lines. I am also going to begin making voices for M:R's BOBs.
And of course, we'll be ADDING to M2. The hulks from M:R will return to M2:Beyond.
